PAUL SPARROW is the director at the Centre for Performance-led HR at Lancaster University, UK and has held many top level academic positions in International Human Resource Management. Sparrow was recently voted one of the UK's most influential people in the HR community and has experience in various consulting roles: academic consultant, consultant for a mainstream HR consulting firm, and as a self-employed consultant. His work for major multinational clients and government bodies has included work on globalising service functions inside multinationals, global employee engagement patterns, competency master-classes, and advice on centers of excellence and knowledge management networks.

ANTHONY HESKETH is the Deputy Director of the Centre for Performance-Led HR at Lancaster University and is one of the UK's leading authorities on HR resourcing. He researches and consults with some of the worlds leading organizations on outsourcing, human capital management and its measurement. He was a founding member of the Centre and also the HROA Europe Board. He collaborates with SharedXpertise on a number of research projects in the outsourcing and shared services space. He sits on a number of advisory boards for outsourcing organisations including CAPITA and Xchanging.

CARY COOPER is Professor of Organizational Psychology and Health, Lancaster University Management School, UK and Pro Vice Chancellor (External Relations) at Lancaster University. He is the author of over 100 books (on occupational stress, women at work and industrial and organizational psychology), has written over 400 scholarly articles for academic journals, and is a frequent contributor to national newspapers, TV and radio. He is currently Founding Editor of the Journal of Organizational Behavior and Co-Editor of the medical journal Stress & Health (formerly Stress Medicine). He is a Fellow of the British Psychological Society, The Royal Society of Arts, The Royal Society of Medicine, The Royal Society of Health, British Academy of Management and an Academician of the Academy for the Social Sciences. Professor Cooper is the immediate past President of the British Academy of Management, is a Companion of the Chartered Management Institute and one of the first UK based Fellows of the (American) Academy of Management. In 2001, Cary was awarded a CBE in the Queens Birthday Honours List for his contribution to organizational health. He holds Honorary Doctorates from Aston University (DSc), Heriot-Watt University (DLitt), Middlesex University (Doc. Univ) and Wolverhampton University (DBA); an Honorary Fellowship of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine of the Royal College of Physicians; and in 2006 was awarded an Honorary Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians (Hon FRCP).

MARTIN HIRD is the Executive Director at the Centre for Performance-Led HR at Lancaster University. Hird has held a range of managerial and educational roles. He is a Fellow at the Centre for Leadership Studies at Exeter University. In addition to research and teaching within the Centre, his role focuses on client liaison and responding to business development opportunities.
