Jerry S. Rosenbloom, Ph.D.,
C.L.U., C.P.C.IL, is the Frederick H. Ecker Professor of Insurance and Risk Management at
the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He also serves as academic director
of the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) program, cosponsored by the Wharton
School and the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. A frequent contributor
