About the Authors
Rafael Romeu teaches
economics and banking at the University of Maryland. In addition to his research on global
equity and foreign exchange markets, Romeu is an experienced manager of private sector
pension funds. He is the author of Understanding Direct Access Trading.
Umar Serajuddin is a graduate
of Middlebury College, with a Masters from the University of Maryland, and is completing
his Ph.D. from the University of Texas. Serajuddin has worked in micro-lending and other
financial matters at Grameen Bank in addition to being an avid researcher of the financial
markets.
