The Author

Mike Johnson is a consultant and author, and Managing Partner of Johnson & Jones Limited, a corporate communications consultancy, based in Brussels, Belgium and the UK. Founded in 1982, the company works with major multinational corporations and consulting firms. In addition to his consulting activities, he has been the editor of the annual publications Global Management and Global Management Asia Pacific for the past 17 years. Mike is also the author of the best-selling books Managing in the NEXT Millennium (translated into 11 languages) and Getting a GRIP on Tomorrow (voted one of the 30 best business books in 1996). Two other books on Teleworking and Outsourcing were published in co-operation with the Institute of Management in 1997.

In 1998 he created and developed the highly acclaimed global study Building and Retaining Global Talent: Towards 2002 for the Economist Intelligence Unit. He is a frequent speaker at business functions, conferences and seminars on HR and communications issues.
