This Book is dedicated to the problem of the culture in Europe. Articles are arranged
in three sections. The first one: “The concept of the State in the European thought”
– carries texts which concern the category of “the state” and “the laws”
comprehended as the demand of the rationalities of the public life. The second part: “Cultural
borderlands of Europe” – discusses the diverse demarcation lines of the European
territory. The third part: “The faces of Polish political and ethical culture” –
includes texts
concerning the Polish political and ethical culture.
